This is a rich visionary approach to the first part of Handel’s opera Alcina, which explores the intrigue and turmoil of love. Set against a contemporary world; It features some of Handel’s most moving arias. The feature film Pale Shadows is an experimental approach to Handel’s opera Alcina, which was filmed over three days in Hastings, England with Barefoot Opera’s ensemble of singers and musicians.
